The English Teachers Network Australia (ETNA) is a loosely-formed, grassroots network of English teachers, scholars, and other workers or retirees from the profession.
In much the same way that an individual might develop a 'Personal Learning Network', this wiki aims to bring those individuals together in a designated 'Community Learning Network' (CLN).
English teachers join this network in order to:
make a profile page for themselves here on the wiki to increase their accessibility to potential connections
scope out the names and faces of other English teachers and educators around Australia that are connecting through this 'CLN'
build and/or store content to share with like-minded souls
develop curriculum awareness and share strategies at the 'grassroots' level.

There are so many people working in English curriculum out there, it's hard to keep track!
And yet...the number of us must be finite...
Networks develop easily inside institutions, but it can be hard to find people beyond your immediate circle
Many academics get too busy to talk to each other
Many teachers get too busy to find folks from other schools
There are a lot of great networks growing out there, and I want one for ENGLISH!
